Seattle Rotary Online is a significant marketing opportunity that is available to organizations that wish to help co-sponsor it. Intended as a library where you can just pull a speaker’s presentation off the shelf, Seattle Rotary Online has been sponsored by First Choice Health CEO, Ken Hamm. Ken is willing to share the financial load (and public awareness!) with companies or other organizations that wish broader awareness within the club or community.
Sponsorships are available for as little as $500Please contact Seattle 4 Rotarian, David Endicott by email or at 206-409-3275.

Exploring Implicit BIas

June 7 at Noon
Bell Harbor, 2211 Alaskan Way
The Peacebuilder Committee has been exploring implicit bias this past year and has invited two speakers to join us on June 7 so the entire Club can develop more awareness on this topic.  The two speakers are consultant Deborah Terry-Hays and Seattle Police Department trainer Martin Welte.
Members of the Peacebuilder Committee used the Harvard Implicit Bias assessment tool for personal reflection and invite Club members to use the link below prior to the meeting to maximize the experience.   Follow the link and and choose areas that are of most interest to you.

Wider World of Rotary

Rotarians uniting for peace

By Virginia McKenzie

This week Cathy Gibson brought the Wider World of Rotary to Seattle #4!   We had special guests Deniel & Warren Banks from District 5100 and the Rotarian Action Group for Peace.  Deniel & Warren inspired us with stories of how they integrated the Portland Police Department and School District into their Peacebuilders Committee and have installed over 150 peace poles throughout their Rotary District!  Deniel Banks is seated in the middle of the first row.  Warren Banks is standing in the back row on the far right.   May peace prevail on earth.
