Seattle Rotary Online

Seattle Rotary Online is a significant marketing opportunity that is available to organizations that wish to help co-sponsor it. Many of Seattle Rotary’s most prominent speakers are available on our website to anyone with a computer and broadband access. Intended as a library where you can just pull a speaker’s presentation off the shelf, Seattle Rotary Online has been sponsored by First Choice Health CEO, Ken Hamm, and Gary Gannaway before him. Ken is willing to share the financial load (and public awareness!) with companies or other organizations that wish broader awareness within the club or community.
Sponsorships are available for as little as $500.
Please Contact Seattle Rotarian, David Endicott  by email or at (206) 409-3275.

Educators overcome challenges with
access, participation and engagement

Totem Report
by Pete DeLaunay
Two distinguished educators came to the Rotary podium with essentially the same message: providing access for students of all ethnicities and situations results in participation and engagement in programs aimed to help students succeed!  Dwane Chappelle, former principal at Rainier Beach High School and current director of the Seattle Department of Education and Early Learning, joined Dr. Nancy Coogan, Superintendent of the Tukwila School District, as they separately offered their perspectives on inspiring students to succeed.

Wider World of Rotary

by Virginia McKenzie
Each month a group of Seattle #4 Rotarians assemble with the line of District Governors to discuss breaking news in Seattle #4 and District 5030.   This committee meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 11am, immediately prior to our Rotary lunch.  All members are welcome to attend.  See attached for an example of the topics discussed.
Seattle #4 Rotary is taking a more and more active role in our Rotary District.  Thanks to Trent Mummery and Navkiran Bains for being Co-Chairs of this very important committee!
