SEATTLE ROTARY ONLINE

Seattle Rotary Online is a significant marketing opportunity that is available to organizations that wish to help co-sponsor it. Intended as a library where you can just pull a speaker’s presentation off the shelf, Seattle Rotary Online has been sponsored by First Choice Health CEO, Ken Hamm. Ken is willing to share the financial load (and public awareness!) with companies or other organizations that wish broader awareness within the club or community.

Sponsorships are available for as little as $500Please contact Seattle 4 Rotarian, David Endicott by email or at 206-409-3275.

2016 Seattle Rotayr Holiday Luncheon Highlights

Featuring the new holiday classic, "Rudolph the Rotary Reindeer", with lyrics by Albert Evans:

You know Dasher and Dancer
and Prancer and Vixen,
Comet and Cupid
and Donner and Blitzen.
But how about the deer
who said, “Santa, I’m outa here!”

Rudolph the can-do reindeer
dreamed of what he could achieve
if he could be of service
more than just on Christmas Eve.

All of the other reindeer
told him, “Rudy, dude — relax.
Why try to be a hero?
Sit and eat your reindeer snacks.”

Then one day the four-way test,
touched him to the core.
He flew down to Puget Sound
where he joined Seattle Four.

Now he’s a happy reindeer
helping his community.
Rudolph the Rotary reindeer,
you’re as good as good can be!

Is it true and is it fair?
Will it build goodwill?
Does it lend a friendly hand?
Does it help folks climb the hill?

Those are the simple standards
Rudy follows faithfully.
Rudolph the rotary reindeer,
you’re as dear as deer can be!

Wider World of Rotary

Seattle #4 Rotarians visit Everett Rotary for their Centennial Celebration

Seattle #4 Rotarians were invited as guests of honor to the 100 year celebration of Everett Rotary.  Seattle #4 is the club that sponsored Tacoma #8, who then sponsored Everett Rotary.  This is an extra special Rotary moment for me, because my mother is Immediate Past President at Everett Rotary.  See Deborah Wright on the far right of the photo.  Did you know the practice of Happy Bucks was started in 1977 at Everett Rotary?  You can read about it in this news article from The Everett Harold.
