Two gifts...
We change the world

Once a year we ask you to make two donations.  One is to the Seattle Rotary Service Foundation (SRSF).  The other is to The Rotary Foundation (TRF).  If you have not yet made your donations, please consider doing so today.  Thank you!

Islam for dummies, like me

April 11  at Noon
The Westin, 1900 5th Ave

Enjoy a Halal lunch while we talk to Bret Anderson and Rev. Randy Martin about their experiences and knowledge of living in Muslim countries for most of their professional careers.  They have lived in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Pakistan, teaching, travelling, discovering, professing, and preaching…for over 40 years.

Having both lived as Christian minorities in these Muslim countries, they will provide a unique perspective on a religion that 25% of the world believes.

This will be an engaging and informative program that will help explain some of the basics of Islam that many of us have not been aware of or have been misinformed about.  We hope this information will be helpful in your world travels and with our continual fulfillment of our 4 Way Test: Truth, Fellowship, Community and Fairness.
