Two gifts...
We change the world
Once a year we ask you to make two donations. One is to the Seattle Rotary Service Foundation (SRSF). The other is to The Rotary Foundation (TRF). If you have not yet made your donations, please consider doing so today. Thank you!
Join us this Wednesday at the Westin for a program dedicated to understanding and solving youth homelessness in Seattle. We’ll hear from Kristine Scott, Executive Director of Roots Young Adult Shelter in the University District. Roots opened in 2000 as the city’s first overnight shelter for homeless youth. Kristine has dedicated her career to serving and understanding their unique needs. We’ll also hear from Tyrone, a former resident of Roots with a powerful story that took him from the streets to success in life, thanks to Roots.
Our short program will feature Seattle photographer Tim Durkan. For years, Tim has not only documented our city’s homeless population with his camera, he’s become their friend. Tim’s TED talk will show us the humanity that he’s discovered on the streets of Seattle.

Calling all Seattle Rotarians to Serve as Hosts for "Winners for Life"
Wednesday, March 14
11:00am-12:00pm reception
12:00-1:30pm luncheon
Hyatt Olive 8, 1635 8th Ave.
Each year, the Rotary Club of Seattle honors high school students who have shown exceptional character in overcoming significant obstacles to remain in school.
On Wednesday, March 14th, we need 40 Seattle Rotarians to each host a “Winner for Life” at the reception and regular Rotary luncheon. Rotary pays for the reception and meals of the Winner and their guest, and Winners receive a plaque, but YOUmake the recognition more personal!
8:30-11:00am @ Northwest Harvest Warehouse, 22220 68th Ave S., Kent
Join Rotarians and Rotaractors from around the district for a morning of hands-on service. You'll be helping to pack some of the millions of pounds of healthy fruits and vegetables RFH provides every year for families and individuals in need.
The Seattle #4 Rotary Peacebuilder Committee invites you to join the World Peace Forum. Every year, the World Peace Forum gathers scholars and students, peace activists and executives, journalists, religious leaders, politicians and artists from all corners of the globe to participate in the dialogue of Peace!
Past Club President Cathy Gibson has been in Indonesia this month to climb. While there were no local Rotary meetings for a banner exchange, Cathy did take our Seattle #4 banner to the summit of Carstensz Pyramid - at 16,024ft it is the highest peak in Australia-Oceania and one of the Seven Summits.
