Rotary Volunteer Opportunity - Mentors Needed

Seeking Mentors - Saturdays until December 11.

UNCF in partnership with Seattle 4 Rotary presents Portfolio Project. Portfolio Project is a free 11-week bridge to success program targeted to underrepresented emerging scholars in their Junior and Senior years of High School. The mission of the Portfolio Project is to equip students across Washington and Oregon State with the resources needed to reach their aspirations of post-secondary education.

As a mentor, you will inspire, guide, and motivate, your student while they navigate through the daunting college and scholarship application process.

This year we’ve implemented the Support Squad. This cohort allows two Rotarian mentors for each group of portfolio project students. This provides a team approach for mentors and students. It allows the pairing of mentors to share the time commitment. For example, if a mentor has a prior commitment on a Portfolio Project Saturday.

COMMITMENT:

September 25, 2021 – December 11, 2021

Each Saturday’s from 11:30-3:00 pm
