Following the success of our recent Peacebuilders Book Discussion of “So You Want to Talk About Race" by local author and activist Ijeoma Oluo, we’re excited to announce your Seattle 4 Rotary Peacebuilders Committee is continuing our journey towards antiracism. This February, please join us in reading “White Fragility” by local author and UW Professor Robin Diangelo. It’s a New York Times best-selling book, exploring how racism as a practice is not restricted to ‘bad people’ and the counterproductive reactions even the best-meaning people can have when their assumptions about race are challenged.

Facilitating our book discussion will be Seattle Rotary's own Paula Houston. The discussion will be held at 11am before the luncheon on Wed. Feb. 26, either in the Motif hotel or at a nearby location (TBD). Your Peacebuilders Committee invites all Seattle 4 Rotary members to join us in this read and discussion.
