CONNIE KELLEY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Once again we are ready to award our annual Connie Kelley Scholarship. Applications are available on this page at the bottom right under downloads. Applications are also available at Anacortes High School and via any member of our club. Check with Jim English or Val Tibbetts for application forms.

This year we have $2,000 to award in scholarships to someone who is beginning or continuing a vocational or technical education. They must exhibit the wonderful qualities that were Connie; curiosity, perseverance, humor, courage optimism and determination in pursuing chosen career and life. There is no age limit. Candidates must be a current resident of Fidalgo or Guemes Island. This scholarship is exceptional because it does not exclude Rotarians. The deadline for applications is April 8th. Interviews wil be conducted later in April and the winner will be announced by April 28th.

Candidates will receive their scholarship recognition at the annual ceremony held by the Anacortes Schools Foundation. Winnings are to used for school expenses only.
