Vasheti Quiros

Although a Puget Sound native, Vasheti moved to Florida is 1994 where she was fortunate to hold positions with Walt Disney World Co. and Tupperware World Headquarters, each holding a significant presence in their respective industries. She further developed her career by improving the overall internal and programmatic operations of the Early Learning Coalition of Osceola County (Coalition) and ensuring effective implementation of the educational service delivery functions and quality initiatives associated with the Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) and School Readiness Programs in Osceola County, FL. Highlights of her work with the Coalition include her participation in the planning, development and execution of the Central Florida “Quality Counts” QRIS, a system that reviews early learning programs according to clearly defined, high quality standards using a five star method of evaluation; and her role in the development of the Early Learning Emergency Procedures Initiative, earning the Coalition its first Best Practices Award from the Agency for Workforce Innovation, State of Florida. It is through her tenure at the Coalition that she became an advocate for early childhood education and developed a strong commitment to promoting the growth and success of mission-driven organizations. Vasheti returned to her home town in 2011 to be reunited with her family and is currently the Development Director of the Snohomish County Music Project; a multi-faceted therapy, advocacy, cultural, and artistic hub which uses the power of music to inspire and catalyze positive change in Snohomish County. As a happily married mother of two, she currently lives in South Snohomish County and is excited to be building relationships and developing resources to support the community in which she now resides.
