Providing Hope for a Future...One Village at a TIme

Hands for Peacemaking Foundation is a Christian based 501c 3 that has spent the last 25 years working together with the villagers of the Santa Cruz Barillas region of Guatemala to provide clean air and water to help stave off sometimes deadly illnesses, introduce new agricultural projects and farming techniques, build schools and school desks and provide job training that is essential to the economic sustainability of a village. This remote area is located in the NW highlands of the country where few organizations are willing to travel.

The Philosopy at Hands for Peacemaking Foundation is not to give a handout, but to give a help up. We believe that long term sustainability comes through education and hard work. Our Programs are geared toward the specific needs of the village and any promise made is a promise kept. The HFPF staff in Guatemala studies the feasibility of each project before making any commitments therefore eliminating false hopes. The Hands for Peacemaking Foundation has, for so many, become a symbol of hope.
