The Rotary Club of Everett-Port Gardner was Charted on January 9, 1988
History of the Founding of the Rotary Club of Everett-Port Gardner:
In the fall of 1985, due to the rapid growth in Everett it became apparent that more Rotary Club's ere needed in the area.  A committee was established under the leadership of Everett Rotary Club Noon president Mark Samuelson.  The focus was to determine the feasibility of and process by which a new club would be formed.  The committee included these noted community leaders.  Bill Dobler, Tom Rainville, Mark Nesse, Dale Lyski, Travis Snyder, and Earl Smiley.  One of the original names considered was Everett-Milltown Rotary Club.

1991 - Present:  Club teamed with Everett Parks and Recreation to sell bricks for the Everett Performing Arts Center nettng over $24000 for our club foundation
1992 - 1992:  Donated and shipped a utility truck to Guatemala
1993 - 1994:  Club hosts group study exchange team from Brazil
1995 - 1996:  Club hosts high school students from Brazil who lived with the O'Donnell family for a year
2000 - 2001:  Club host group study exchange team from FInland
2001 - 2002:  Club is instrumental in development of Wiggins Hollow Park
2003 - 2004:  Club supports water projects in Mozambique with a Matching Grant from Rotary International
2009 - 2010:  Club supports construction of Aller Center in Guatemala through Hands for Peacemaking
2011 - 2012:  Club supports construction of the Monterrico Medical Clinic in Guatemala through Healing the Children
2012 - 2013:  Club supports three water projects in Mozambique with a Matching Grant from Rotary International
2015 - 2016:  Club supports a village water project in Guatemala with a Matching Grant from Rotary International
2016 - 2017:  Classic Chevy Car Raffle surpasses all goals with more than $150,000 in gross receipts
