Time to Buff Up Rotary Park

To  weed and buff that fisherman’s friend on the Snohomish River, known as Rotary Park.  We also have a great new sign for the park, a special thanks to the City of Everett for the new sign.  Thanks for participating, !
We had over 90 volunteers signed in which included students from The Interact Club at Everett High School and Rotaractors of Snohomish County at the park near Lowell on Saturday, May 18 to for an annual park cleanup.
Rotary Park, which includes a waterfront trail, parking and a boat ramp, was started in 1989 as the Everett Park Department’s “Rotary Trail Project” on the Snohomish. The Rotary Club of Everett contributed $50,000, and the club has invested time in the park’s maintenance since.
Volunteers from Forterra, an organization working with the City of Everett in the Green Everett Partnership were also in attendance.
