Summit Assistance Dogs
Summit Bio: Summit Assistance Dogs is a nonprofit organization that creates life-changing partnerships by providing highly-skilled mobility service dogs for people living with disabilities in the Pacific Northwest. By assisting with tasks such as retrieving items, opening and closing doors, and turning switches on and off, our dogs help their partners live with greater independence and confidence. These companions can also help diminish depression, anxiety, and loneliness.
Personal Bio: Carlin was born and raised in Yakima Washington where his family manages twenty acres of vineyard. He graduated from Western Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in Business & Sustainability, exploring the interdisciplinary relationship between environmental resources and business practices. Carlin joined Summit in 2024 and as the Community Outreach Coordinator helps Summit reach into local communities to help develop personal relationships and grow Summit's mission.
