James McCafferty, Co-Director of WWU's Center for Economic and Business Research, is our speaker on Friday. James' job is to broaden the connections between the University, the College of Business and Economics, and the real world – businesses, non-profits and government agencies – through student internships, classroom-based projects and business consultations drawing on faculty, staff and students.

What better way to get in the Auction spirit than by attending a free screening of
Mama Mia: Here We Go Again. The September Social Committee has arranged for
all Rotary club members, their families, and guests to see the movie at Mount
Vernon's Lincoln Theatre, 712 South First St., Mount Vernon, on Sunday, Sept. 11
at 1 p.m. The theatre seats almost 500 so please bring your family and invite
anyone you think would be interested in attending the auction.
