and the Stories of a Pickle
We have a double dose of students this Friday. First we'll meet our Burlington-Edison High School Students for March.
We'll also hear from author and Westview
Elementary School fifth grader Olive Rankin. Olive wrote two books, 'The Pickle', and 'Pickle the Sequel, He has Risen.' Olive will tell us about the process of writing two books by the age of 10.

Monday is the Pacioni's Stuff-a-Bus Lunch
If your name was drawn for the free lunch at Pacioni's please meet at the restaurant at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 20. The lunch is the club's reward for winning the Helping Hands food Bank's Stuff-a-Bus contest. If your name was not drawn but you would like to join the winners, lunch is on you but you are welcome to attend.
Learn More About Rotary at the
District Training Assembly
Do you have an interest in learning more about Rotary and how you can participate?? Then you should consider attending the Rotary district 50/50 Assembly. The Assembly might be the best training there is for Rotarians who want a better understanding of the value and meaning of Rotary. The assembly is Saturday, March 25th, at Kwantlen Polytech University, 12666 72nd Ave., Surrey B. C. Registration begins at 8 a.m., the conference begins at 9 and ends at 2 p.m. and includes lunch.
Our Rotary club can send five members to this conference and the club pays the conference fees. If you would like to attend the assembly please contact Suzanne, skradenkovic@gmail.com.
