Kathleen Olson
Currently the Development Director at Purrfect Pals Cat Adoption Centers, Kathleen Olson was previously the Director at the Humane Society for Tacoma and Pierce County. She has 26 years’ experience with animal welfare nonprofits. She has partnered with regional and national animal welfare organizations to promote spay/neuter, adoption, fostering and providing resources for pet owners. She has been a National Animal Rescue Volunteer with the Humane Society of the United States since 2021.
Kathleen has been a member of Rotary since 1994 with the classification of Animal Welfare since 1998. She was President of Tacoma #8 Rotary 2004-05 and joined the Arlington Rotary Club in 2021. She is currently the Area J Assistant Governor and District 5050 Governor Nominee for 2026-27.
