Mike spent over 26 years in law enforcement working in Eastern Washington. In 2017 I was proud to have been offered the position as Chief of Police for the City of Burlington. Skagit Valley is where I was born and raised so this was an opportunity for me to come home. I have been married for 29 years and am quite proud of my 2 daughters, one a high school teacher and the other currently finishing her teaching degree. In my spare time I do what my wife tells me to do, I enjoy yard work, boating/crabbing, and have a passion for continual learning and change.
