Chris Diaz Born and raised in Sunny Southern California. Joined the Navy in Escondido, CA 1996 and separated in 2006. Contractor aviation maintenance services on NAS Whidbey from 2007 until 2016. I have 3 wonderful kids born and raised in Washington State. I went to Skagit Valley College from 2016 and 2019 and Graduated with an Operational Management Degree. I worked at Skagit Valley College as a School Certifying Official for 3 years (and during COVID) to make sure Students were using the VA Education they were awarded and any other local, state and federal benefits available to them. I currently work for Skagit County as their 1st Veteran Services Specialist and Veteran Service Officer. My office is located at the Robert M Gates Vets Connect. Currently, I’m the Commander of the American Legion Memorial Post 91 and member of the VFW 5056. Currently Youth and High School volunteer. Currently a community volunteer as an MC, EMCEE and more. Doug Cark, Regional Development Manager for the N.W.
Doug grew up in Latin America and entered public service at a young age. He has also been a businessman and served as a Legislator in the Arizona State Legislature. Doug has a Master’s Degree in Cross Cultural Communication/Anthropology which he believes helps him connect with people from varying backgrounds.
His passion is helping individuals raise their ‘Generosity Quotient’. Doug’s enthusiasm for leading individuals into understanding the beauty of generosity is infectious. This enthusiasm has led him to assist people and organizations throughout the United States and in numerous countries.
Sitting still is not in Doug’s make up. In his free time, you will find him either traversing a mountain on his bike, playing a round of golf, swimming laps or participating in any number of activities that might be at his disposal.
