Rise Against Hunger - April 27th
Paul Grey gave an update of the International Projects Committee. He announced that the committee has designated a dollar-for-dollar match of membership donations by the committee’s funds up to a limit of $5,000 going to the Rise Against Hunger project. He said the goal was to produce 88,000 meals that day.  To do that we need money and volunteers.  The first order of business is to raise the funds to buy the meals.  We are currently only 2/3 of the way there.  He urged people to donate if they haven’t already, and to volunteer on the 27th.
There will be a Social this Tuesday beginning at 5:15.  Location:  Illuminati on Hammer Drive. What a success – just ask all who attended. There were some (Prez. Sandy?) who danced on the table…whoever missed it too bad for you.
Dominique Zervas commented on the dedication and generosity of longtime RCOB member Bob Boulé, explaining that a GoFundMe page would is in the process of being created to assist with his legal defense.

The theme of Rob Olson’s Ministry of Fun was Early American History.
The entire program was dedicated to honoring the students. Each was introduced and then given the podium for a short acceptance speech. Some speeches were more brief than others, but it was spiffy to hear from them.
Interesting to note the gender division on the above awards. (Ed. Note – I didn’t notice any gender division, everyone was whole.) These young folks are great and it’s wonderful to celebrate them.
Another editor’s note – geez don’t you get tired of them? I think the new format of giving the entire program to the students is stupendous. I think it really makes them feel honored. That’s my two cents worth…
