Jeremiah McCoy, Operations Mgr.
Bellingham Makerspace

Jeremiah McCoy, the Operations Manager of the Bellingham Makerspace, will present the background and contributions of the Bellingham Makerspace, a place which fosters a strong local community of makers, artists, inventors, and other creatives.  With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bellingham Makerspace became a hub, working with Whatcom County officials, to coordinate, distribute, sterilize, and supply improvised Personal Protective Equipment to thousands of front-line workers, including cloth masks, clear face shields, and isolation gowns, when they were in short supply. The Makerspace is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit community skill sharing tool shop and workspace.
