Growing Veterans

Growing Veterans mission is to empower veterans to cultivate purpose and belonging by growing food, community and each other. The core of our mission is to end the isolation that can lead to veteran suicide. Dirt Therapy and Community are essential to the success of our mission. These two components build upon one another because dirt therapy is what our organization provides and community is what we create. Dirt therapy is the physical, mental, and spiritual connection that solidifies the bond with fellow veterans and civilians that is frequently missing upon transition from active duty service.  Community is built by sharing a common goal/mission (organic farming) with fellow veterans and civilians forged in the fields and realized through the food we grow together.
