“Prediabetes…great, another epidemic!”

A look at how prediabetes is thought to be a, “phew, at least I don’t have diabetes” level of concern. Actually, it is the threshold of diabetes in most such cases and the groundwork for vascular complications is starting. The increase in adults (and now youths) with prediabetes is reaching epidemic proportions, occurring 94 million adults with only 10% knowing they have it.
