Whatcom County Rotarians will package meals to be distributed around the world during District 5050 Rotary Work Day

Food Packaging Event – April 27th – Bellingham, WA

Join the movement to end hunger by 2030. We proved what we can do as Rotarians with the fight against Polio, now let’s mobilize the fight against hunger.

WHO: District 5050 Rotary clubs – A District 5050 Work Day Event
WHAT: Packaging up to 88,000+ meals for hungry people around the world. (This is our 4th packaging event with progressively more meals packaged at each event.)
WHERE: St Luke's Community Health Education Center, 3333 Squalicum Pkwy, Bellingham, WA 98225
WHEN: April 27th, Shifts: 9am – 11am, 11:30am – 1:30pm, 2pm – 4pm, or until all meals are packaged.
WHY: Bring needed food to hungry men, women and children in impoverished pockets of the world.
ASK: Donate funds for the raw materials and donate your time to assemble meals.

ACTION: Go to http://events.stophungernow.org/riseagainsthunger@bellinghamrotary to donate and to sign up to volunteer.
