We have received the enclosed plea from our very special Sheri Polak and we are all hoping you can look into your hearts and yes, maybe your pocketbooks and help out here - the need is VERY urgent - as you are aware, it has been very cold the last few nights.. Please see Sheri's urgent message below:
I would like to see a volunteer to head this up - unfortunately, I will be at PETS all weekend but whatever you can do, please jump into this and help out! Thank you to you all!

Last night between midnight and 2:30 AM, Mar drove around rescuing homeless young kids and adults that are living on the street. It was so very cold last night and promises to be the same for several nights to come.
Mar has asked that we collect blankets (clean please), jackets, hats, and gloves. She will make sure they get to the kids.
You can drop them at Doughgirl Pizza, at Victory and Balboa, OR you can bring them to my house
4714 Almidor Ave, Woodland Hills, 91364.
We will be doing this tonight and tomorrow night only. Please help.

Our Mar Diego (Dough Girl Pizza) seriously needs warm blankets,
jackets, gloves, head coverings...anything for warmth! There is
a huge number of young adults homeless and on the streets at
night with practically nothing to keep them warm and
protected on these cold nights!
Sheri Polak will be emailing you all very shortly with information
on where to bring your clean items, along with additional details.
MAR WILL NEED THESE CLEAN ITEMS FOR TONIGHT!
