With almost four decades of experience as a director, producer and actor in television and film, award-winning Hollywood veteran Richard Wells is one the most engaging and approachable members of the Directors Guild of America. Richard just retired this month after 38 years in the industry, and will join us to share some of his experiences on the other side of the cameras in Hollywood.

 
Among Richard's films credits are work on White Men Can't Jump; Mother, Jugs & Speed; and The Color Purple, for which he won a DGA award in 1986.ÃÆ'‚  His television career has included directorial and production work on such series as Scrubs; The Love Boat; The Larry Sanders Show; Happy Days; Love, American Style; Ellen; Star Trek: Deep Space Nine; and, most recently, Cougar Town.
