Pacific Lodge Boys' Home--Nestled at the foot of the Santa Monica Mountains in Woodland Hills, just a stones throw from the hustle and bustle of Ventura Boulevard, a few dozen boys ages 13 to 17 reside in one of four cottages in a homelike environment on a tranquil wooded campus. On Tuesday, September 7th, Calabasas Rotarians will welcome Director of Development, Debbie Sands, and Activities and Education Supervisor, Dan McCollister to present to our Club and the

community about the Pacific Lodge and the wonderful work it does with its remarkable residents. Sheri Polack of Woodland Hills Rotary will also speak about ways in which she and her Club have been involved with the Pacific Lodge, as well as ongoing involvement opportunities.

Founded in 1923, Pacific Lodge Boys' Home provides a therapeutic residential treatment program for boys ages 13 to 17. On a lushly landscaped 10-acre campus in the San Fernando Valley, boys receive 24-hour treatment for psychological, emotional or behavioral problems and learn how to build more productive lives.

Programs include individual, group and family therapy, an accredited and individualized academic program, substance abuse treatment, vocational training and well-supervised activities that lead to the development of tangible skills.

Pacific Lodge Boys' Home is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization with a professional staff and a dedicated board of directors.
