In addition to our club spear heading the fund drive to build the Splash Pad at Haller Park, as well as the playground, we have adopted Haller Park as a regular service project.  As such, we have partnered with the City of Arlington to keep the park clean and safe.

 

Our members and friends responded to the City's request to get the splash pad ready to open on July 1.  However, because of the predicted hear wave, the City moved up the opening to June 24. It was not open in 2020 because of the pandemic, so it needed a fresh coat of concrete stain before the toys and apparatus.  17 Rotarians and friends took on the job on June 12.  There is a photo album you can view.  Here are a few photos:
