April 6 is the 50th anniversary of our first meeting.  The club was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Everett.  In the 30's it had sponsored a club in Marysville, but the club failed after a few years.  The Everett club decided to try again, but with a north Snohomish County service area.  The first meeting was held at the Turkey House at Island crossing.  On June 20, 1970, the club was chartered as the Rotary Club of Marysville-North County.
