Another well attended and fun evening meeting was held this week at the beautiful Gleneagle Country Club! Thank you to everyone who attended and participated in this fun evening while we got to know each other a little bit more!

As new Rotarians we do a classification talk when we first join so that the club can get to know new members, their lives away from the club what brought them to Rotary in the first place. Many of our members have been in the club for a long time and many things have changed since they joined the club. We also have many new members that have joined our club that don't know alot about the other members of the club and would like to get to know them. This evening President Dave took advantage of an opportunity and decided instead of having a regular speaker that he would lighten the mood and shake it up a little bit with a really fun game where we got to know a little bit about a few members that have been in our club for many years. What better time and space to be able to check in with members and take the time to get to know more about them than a little game of Rotary Round Table!
President Dave chose our President Elect Nominee Casey Miller to start the game and also we got a short interview with club member Bill Kmet. Dave asked a long series of interesting questions where we got to know so much more about our club members as they answered the questions and had a lot of laughs along the way.Dave added a small twist if the Rotarian answering the questions didn't answer then President Dave got to answer for them! That definetely got them thinking on their feet and kept it lively all the way through to the end of the meeting. We have truly the most amazing Rotarians in our club with such a broad range of life experiences to share. So many fun and sometimes unexpected answers came out of the game and what a great way to spend an evening. Rotarians enjoyed themselves and the fellowship and are looking forward to more opportunities to have time and space to just get to share and learn things with their fellow club members. Thank you to all who attended our second evening meeting at it's new location at Gleneagle Country Club. We look forward to many more enjoyable evenings together of fun and fellowship.
