Rotary Club of Arlington Celebrates Record-Breaking Sponsorship Year

On Thursday, July 23, 2026, the Rotary Club of Arlington hosted its annual Sponsorship Recognition Event at the Bonus Room in Smokey Point. This year's celebration marked an exciting first as the event transitioned from its traditional luncheon to an evening happy hour. The new format was a tremendous success, with an outstanding turnout of both sponsors and Rotarians coming together to celebrate another incredible Great Stilly Duck Dash season.
Longtime Sponsorship Chair Jola Barnett led the evening, recognizing the many businesses and organizations whose generosity continues to make the Great Stilly Duck Dash one of Arlington's most impactful community events.
This year's highest level of support came from our Double Diamond Sponsors at the $20,000 level:

- Angel Of The Winds Casino Resort
Our Platinum Sponsor at the $10,000 level was Eagle Family Dental, while Dwayne Lane's Auto Family was honored not only for its $7,500 sponsorship, but also for being one of the most generous and longest-standing supporters of the Great Stilly Duck Dash.

The evening also celebrated our Gold Sponsors at the $5,000 level, along with our Silver Sponsors at $2,500 and our Bronze Sponsors at $1,000—the largest sponsorship category this year. In addition, we were grateful to recognize the many Community Sponsors who contributed $500, demonstrating that every level of support helps make a difference.
Special recognition was given to several first-time sponsors whose generosity strengthens the future of our event. We also honored Bailey, Duskin, Peiffle and Martin for more than 20 years of continuous sponsorship, making them one of the longest-standing supporters of the Great Stilly Duck Dash.

In all, 65 sponsors partnered with the Rotary Club of Arlington this year. Combined with ticket sales, the 2026 Great Stilly Duck Dash raised an incredible $274,000—the highest amount ever recorded in the history of the event.
Rotary Club President Dave Kraski and Duck Dash Chair Jennifer Holocker expressed their heartfelt appreciation to every sponsor, volunteer, and Rotarian who helped make this year's event such a remarkable success. They emphasized that the funds raised will continue to support meaningful Rotary projects and programs that benefit the Arlington community for years to come. Attendees went away from the event with excitement for next year and how they can support this event and make it even stronger in the future.
The evening concluded with an exciting announcement: next year's sponsor celebration will become the First Annual Rotary Club of Arlington Gala, to be held on May 8, 2027, at Angel Of The Winds Casino Resort.
