We Are A Club of Excellence!

Of Course--We are a Club of Excellence

One of the Highlights of 2025!

The Club Excellence award, formerly the Rotary Citation award, recognizes clubs that achieve specific goals throughout the year, such as increasing their membership, engaging members in sustainable service projects, giving to The Rotary Foundation, building awareness of Rotary in our community, and having an up-to-date strategic plan. A club that achieves these goals contributes to the club's overall health and culture for generations to come.

Congratulations Mel, our 2025-2025 president, as our club received this award during your year!  Here are the goals that resulted in our earning this award:

  • We have a strategic plan.
  • More than 45 club members participated in club service activities.
  • Our annual giving to the Rotary Foundation's Annual fund exceeded $13,000.
  • More than $35,000 was contributed to the PolioPlus Fund.
  • We exceeded the number of social activities set as our goal.
  • More than five members sponsored a new member.
  • Our website and social media are up to date.
  • More than five members participated in leadership development programs.
  • Our bylaws were reviewed for possible updates.
  • More than 15 of our members attended the District Conference.
  • We sponsored an outbound Rotary Youth Exchange Student.
  • There was at least one media story.
  • Fellowship participation exceeded 40 members.
  • More than three members participated in District training.

Members can help meet our future goals by staying engaged in club activities.  Looking at what is currently recorded in Rotary Club Central for the 2025-2026 Rotary year, we have achieved one of the goals — thanks to Dr. Lee, we have already exceeded our goal for giving to PolioPlus.  Club directors need to provide the President, Bob, with information on how they are doing in their area of service.
