Lance Otto

He described his high school experience in Marysville, where he excelled in sports and academics and eventually graduated despite initial struggles.

Lance detailed his various jobs, including heating and air conditioning, landscaping, and nutrition, before becoming a journeyman electrician. He expressed dissatisfaction with his life, comparing it to his journeyman electrician's, and decided to quit to pursue a better life. He tried heavy equipment work but found it unsatisfying due to the weather and physical demands, leading him to quit again.

Lance talked about his leap of faith into real estate in January 2006, just before the Seahawks' Super Bowl game. He initially wanted to make money in real estate, but later shifted his focus to helping people, driven by his desire for financial independence. Despite starting with no experience, Lance's positive attitude and work ethic helped him become the number three agent in his office by 2009.

He recounted attending a conference in Austin, Texas, where he learned about running a real estate business and decided to leave Windermere for Keller Williams Realty. He transitioned from being an agent to building a real estate business, hiring a full-time admin and staff.

Lance emphasized the importance of being a good husband and father, retiring his wife at 26 and buying their first home in GlenEagle.

Lance told us about his family, including his two sons who play baseball, and his passion for coaching baseball since 2004. He shared his tradition of taking his family on tropical vacations every year, fostering a sense of adventure and family bonding.

His dream was building a shop on his land, which he finally accomplished, complete with a basketball court, a pickleball court, and a batting cage. He also shared his plans for the future, including continuing to build his real estate business and spending quality time with his family.
