Thomas Smith's Eagle Scout Project

Thomas (TJ) Smith

Thomas is from Arlington and has been an active member of the Boy Scouts for 7 years with troop 178 based out of Arlington. He is at the rank of Life and is working toward Eagle. In order to accomplish the rank of Eagle, Thomas had to complete an Eagle scout project. Thomas chose to help the Stilly Center by rebuilding a medical storage shed.   Our Club donated $500 toward the $1200 that the project cost to help Thomas in his endeavor.  Thomas, with the help of family and friends,  stripped the shed down to studs and then put it back together with a new roof, siding and even a new door.  Now, the shed has been completely rebuilt and is being used to store medical equipment that the Stilly Valley Center uses for their loaner program.
