The Public Relations Committee is chaired by our Public Relations Director, Jessica Ronhaar.  Associate Director is A.J. Chase.

The role of the club public relations committee is to inform the public about Rotary and promote the club’s service projects and activities. Having strong public relations ensures that communities around the world know that Rotary is a credible organization that meets real needs. When a Rotary club has a positive public image, current members are motivated to be active and prospective members are eager to join.

Social media and the internet now play a large role in public relations.  Our club has a Face Book site that is managed by Jessica Ronhaar.  We also have a website using ClubRunner.  Our webmaster is Dave Duskin and there is a committee that works at keeping the website current and for sending out the weekly bulletin.  Besides Dave, Jessica and A.J., story contributors include Breanne Martin and Karri Hansen.  Photo contributors include Jessica, Karri, Dale, Dave and Bucky. Communications with members is also a responsibility of the Club Administration Committee.

Our P.R. Committee sends out regular press releases.  It also is working to have signs at each of the roads entering Arlington indicating that our club is in town, and the time and place we meet.  Periodically the P.R. Committee gives out items that promote Rotary, e.g. window clings, water bottles, wine glasses, pens etc.
