Snohomish County Emergency Radio System (SERS)
Oct. 18, 2018 12:00 p.m.
Brad Steiner serves us as the Executive Director for the Snohomish County Emergency Radio System. He was selected for this role in March and brings with him more than 18 years of experience in engineering, deploying, or operating wireless communication systems. With experience in both cellular and the technologies used in our public safety system here in Snohomish County, Brad has been either directly responsible or provided technical oversite to deployments in Benton, Clark, King, Pierce, Spokane and our own Snohomish County. In addition, he has provided oversight and planning for state-wide efforts such as the Washington State Patrol, and the states of Montana, Alaska, and Idaho. Brad will talk about the serious concern for the safety of each and every one of us in this county – and that is the delivery of 911 services and the current state of the emergency radio system that enables it. |
