- Accept Minutes of previous Meeting of January 27, 2021: Moved by Chip, seconded by Deirdre; Carried
- Additions to the Agenda:
- Director Reports; Coldest Night of the Year; Greetings to PAI; Virtual Bingo
- Sergeant at Arms – Marjorie requested happy $”s ; Joan $5, $7 from group that did not stand for anthem, $1Lynda was fined for saying everybody as Chip did stand; $5 Deirdre and Brian; $1 Marjorie; $5 Rhonda, $5 Chip. Chip -Sad $1– President of his Rotarian (Bangkok) was killed in auto accident last week.
- Guest Introduction -Greetings and Welcome Pai Mukondiwa, who is originally from Zimbabwe, and last six years were in Peterborough, Ontario; Moved to BC for her job with Life Labs and is looking for pet friendly place to rent. Our club is here for support and assist any way we can. Office is located 7455 – 130th St, Surrey.
- New Fundraising:
- Coldest night of the Year!! Is being done Virtually!! Date is Feb 20, 2021. Looking for teams and donations, website is cnoy.org. – Deirdre, Lynda and Marjorie, Pai want to walk. Rhonda will Register us.
- Virtual Bingo - Rhonda to get more info from club that has great success with this project. Sounds profitable and fun!!
- Present Fund-Raising Projects Update
Shredding Event – All in order to start advertising in March, 2021.
Save on Card Sales – Have sold our supply and look to replace and continue selling these cards. Is a great fund raising project for new members to get involved.
- Business from previous meetings:
- Grant Seminar attendance of Jan 30,2021; attended by Jeff and Lynda.
- Order promo materials: Joan will forward a contact for our apron and t shirt orders to Lynda.
- Rhonda got the last 12 Masks from another club. Lynda is gathering Apron and T-shirt orders.
- Suitcases to Youth homeless- Have gotten 12 suitcases to drop to Options Centre.
- Volunteer to Drop off Men’s clothing and toiletries to Launching Pad on a no contact bases, drop by on picnic table in their driveway. Corner of 160th and 10th Avenue.
- Soccer gear and uniforms recycle to Ecuador. To Get update From Rick.
- Director Reports:
- Jeff – Needs all members to pay their dues and happy $ please.
- Deirdre = has several people interested but when can get together again. Will invite them to Shred It event. Will also invite to zoom meetings.
- Future Meeting Date: February 10, 2021 – Special Speaker, Zoom Social is February 24, 2021
