We woke up to a beautiful sunny day and a great deal of work ahead of the Club for the first annual Chili Cook Off.

The set up team was on duty setting up tables and canopies at 8:30 and the rest of the crew came in from 9am to 10am.At 11am we were as ready as we were going to be and the air smelt of all kinds of CHILI.

The crowds began to come and people were tasting the Chili. 

At NOON the judges were ready and in their words "This is a blast"

The Judging took place and then the people choice ballots were counted.

The Peoples Choice Award went to Clancy's Fine Meats - South Point

The Judge's Choice Award went to Fronds Bistro.

At this point a BIG THANK YOU goes out to all the participants who were getting very tired and some were running out of Chili.

In the words of people I talked to they want to know if we will do it again.

THANK YOU TO ALL THE MEMBERS AND CONTESTANTS WHO PARTICIPATED TO MAKE THIS A GREAT FUN DAY
