25th Anniversary of the Canadian Eyesight Global
Tuesday July 22nd. we had the pleasure of welcoming Rotarian Anup Singh Jubbal from the Rotary Club of Surrey-Guildford. For 25 years
Anup has been leading this organization (Previously named Project Eyesight-India in providing eyecare to people in India who cannot afford
to pay for eyecare. They have completed over 100,000 free cataract surgeries and treated in excess of half a million children and adults for
eye issues in rural India. Anup told us that this project has joined together over Rotary Clubs, local eye hospitals and volunteers in this project.
Another example of what Rotarians and Rotary Clubs can do to help the less fortunate.
