Rotary provides an opportunity for all of us to provide service to our community and throughout the world. With that service comes a learning experience in the areas of leadership, team building, planning, marketing, communication and organization that one can experience through participation in the Rotary Leadership/Learning Institute (RLI). RLI provides an opportunity to enrich that learning through sharing experiences and ideas with other Rotarians throughout our District. RLI is broken into three areas of learning. Leadership, Service and Membership. Although some of the courses may be offered in a slightly different sequence then shown here, the information gained will greatly enhance your Rotary journey. Level I will explore these topics: Insights into Leadership, Stragtic Planning, Team Building, Communication, Public Image, and Effective Leadership Strategies. Level II will build on what you learned in the first course, and expand on the Rotary Foundation, Service Projects. Targeted Service, International Service, Rotary Opportunities, and Making a Difference. Please make a note in the comments section if you have dietary restrictions. NO REFUNDS AFTER OCTOBER 21, 2019 LATE REGISTRATION FEE OF $75.00 AFTER OCTOBER 21, 2019

I have led SOS Children’s Village BC since 2013 and I am committed to improving the quality of life for the youth of British Columbia. I spent the previous seven years working with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Fraser Valley, B.C. Council for Families, and several other child focused social welfare organizations in that pursuit. I consider myself an entrepreneur having started my first company at age 11. I have been active in the not-forprofit sector as a development expert for over 30 years. As a Rotarian as well as founder, director, and member of over 30 non-profits, I have been active in a diverse range of organizations ranging from the Fine & Performing Arts to E-Commerce. |

Club Vision Facilitation assists club leaders and interested members of a Rotary Club:
1. Visioning Phase
in achieving continuity, consistency and consensus with regards to how they view the future of their club. This is achieved when a club participates n a 4 hour session facilitated by trained Rotarians who are volunteers from District 5050. The club develops a "club vision: for the next five years that helps guide their planning process. Participants come away from this session with enthusiasm for their vision. Next comes the planning.
2. Vision to Plan Phase
in developing action plans to achieve their goals. To help clubs move ahead from Vision to Plan (V2P) we now offer sessions where facilitators meet with club leaders, together with committee chair, to develop action plans to address priority strategic initiatives that aree identified during the initial visioning session
District 5050 Club Vision Facilitation
During this session, the club members attending will be guided through a process in which they will identify what they envision their club to look like in five years, the milestones that need to be reached to achieve this vision, and establishing a plan to present this information at a Club Assembly. |
