Greetings everyone

We received the following request from the Coquitlam club. They are looking to support Tri City Health in Coquitlam and Port Moody by volunteers to help with drive through flu clinics. The sign up information is at the bottom. You will need to sign up directly with tri city health. Please register on our site to show that you are interested so we can track involvement.

Our Coquitlam Rotary club has been asked to support the Division of Family Practice in the Tri-Cites. The plan to have  2 Drive Though , "Flu Vaccination Clinics”. They need Volunteers to handle the Traffic Flow. This is a great service project for Rotary clubs to help the community and still be socially separated for themselves. Please consider urging members of your Rotary clubs to get involved and register for slots needed. Please see below correspondence explaining more details and a link to register for a time you could help and which site.  Note the need is for the month of Nov, various weekdays from 8:00AM - 8:00PM, 4hr shifts,at a Port Moody Site and a Port Coquitlam Site.

We have set up a portal for rotary club volunteers to sign up for volunteer shifts. So far, we have the Port Moody and Port Coquitlam sites confirmed. To view the schedule, please click here.
 
Here is some general information:
 
Addresses 
  1. Port Moody Recreation Complex - 300 Ioco Road, Port Moody
  2. Hyde Creek Recreation Centre - 1379 Laurier Ave, Port Coquitlam
 
Volunteer Shifts 
 6-8 volunteers per shift:
  • 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
  • 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm 
 
Duties
  • First point person / Check Registration 
  • Traffic Control x 2
  • Walk in area (pedestrian traffic) area 
  • Walk in area sanitization 
  • General floater (restock cart, monitor lots, etc.) x 3
 
How to Sign Up for Shifts:

 

  • Interested volunteers to email Sanjam (sanjam.jhawar@fnwdivision.ca)
  • Sanjam will set up the volunteer with an account on a platform called "WB Vollies"
  • Volunteer can then view the available shifts and sign up
