The Community Service Committee encourages every Rotarian to find ways to improve the quality of life for people the community and to serve the public interest. The Grapevine Rotary Club subcommittees that work to meet this goal are as follows:

  • Festivals – Main Street Days and GrapeFest
  • Main Street Flags
  • Special Olympics
  • Feed Our Kids
  • DogFest
  • Student Computer Awards
  • Health & Blood
  • Grapevine Middle School and Silver Lake Elementary School Adoption

The Community Service Committee has been instrumental in providing support to the community through activities including annual and semi-annual blood drives, working beverage booths during Main Street Days and GrapeFest, assisting with raising funds at DogFest in support of Canine Companions for Independence, providing lunch for children during the summer, assisting with the Special Olympics Relays, cleaning up specified areas around Lake Grapevine, putting out the American flag on Main Street on federal holidays and providing computers to Grapevine Middle School and Silver Lake Elementary students who write an essay explaining their need for a computer.
