For two years running, Grapevine Rotary Club received the Governor's Cup for 2019-2020 (recognition as top club in District 5790) by Past District Governor Peter Scott. Immediate Past President Kevin McNamara spoke after receiving the award on behalf of the club, thanking its leadership and members for maintaining their focus on "Service Above Self" during a year fraught with unprecedented challenges. At least nine other members of Grapevine Rotary Club participated in the ceremony, including President Darlene Freed, Janice Kane, Conrad Heede, Marci Junge, Jay Terry, Duff O'Dell, Dr. Merlin Sayers, Dr. Elaine Free-Roberson, and Deb Hinton, which also included recognition as one of the Governor's Vibrant Club Award winners.
