The fabulous Wilshire Rotary of LA 85th Anniversary Celebration is Saturday, September 9th at the Wilshire Country Club, and we need your RSVP now! Your reservation is reserved with your $100 payment, and a portion of each ticket goes to benefit the club and our programs!

Wendy Clifford and her committee members Past District Governor Elsa Gillham and Pam Rudy have planned an absolutely outstanding "cocktail attire" event with:

6p Cocktails (& Softer Drinks)
7p Dinner*
8p Program & Dancing to the sounds of our DJ extraordinaire

*vegan/vegetarian options available, please note on your RSVP

The Silent Auction has magnificent prizes, and you must be present to bid —

  • One week in Calgary, Alberta, 1.5 hours to Banff! (donated by Cys Bronner)
  • One week in LaQuinta, California — 3-bedroom condo (donated by District Governor Nominee Melody St. John)
  • Fabulous El Coyote gift basket (donated by Margie Christofferson)
  • Stunning wooden game set with Wilshire Rotary logo (donated by Ron Reyes)
  • and more!

The committee is looking for additional silent auction items, and there is still room in the program for your advertisement or note of congratulations. The silent auction proceeds go directly to Wilshire Rotary, and the program ads are underwriting the entire setup cost for this event — these are both phenomenal ways to show your support for our club. Please email Wendy today at 5280picnic@gmail.com.

Now is the time to RSVP! Choose what works best for you:

1) Email Wendy at 5280picnic@gmail.com.
2) Email Club Treasurer Pearl Leeka at pleeka@aol.com to pay with credit card.
3) Or, club members can return your response card with check today.

This is a once-in-the-universe event, and a fun one at that! I hope every single Wilshire Rotarian will be in attendance, and join together with our district dignitaries, invited political representatives, and friends far and wide as we celebrate the past, present, and future of Building Friendships and Tackling Community Challenges

I look forward to seeing you there —

Warmest regards,

President Patrick
