Organized by PVP Rotarian Eileen Hupp and the Palos Verdes Chamber of Commerce, The Honorable Ted W. Lieu, US Congressman from our 33rd District and The Honorable Ben Allen, our State Senator for the 26th District.
Congressman Ted Lieu began by telling about growing up in southern California, undergraduate degree from Stanford University and his law degree from Georgetown University, and he is a colonel in the US Air Force Reserves. He addressed three current issues at the national level: health care, tax reform, and North Korea.
Both the Congressman and the State Senator emphasized that their offices are open to citizens’ requests for solving personal and organizational issues at both the national and state level. In particular, the Congressman noted that his office can assist with expediting passport renewals and the timely and accurate issuance of social security checks.
