As usual, Henry Ott greeted us with lucky wine lottery tickets at the entrance. President Allen Bond rang the opening bell at 12:15 for the CLUB ASSEMBLY MEETING . The invocation was done by Chris Leach, saying "we are all unique with our own unique path". The Pledge of Allegiance was given by Norton Donner. The Patriotic Song was lead by Les Fishman, and John Schuright played the piano.
Liz Fitzgerald introduced the guests. They were Soraya Greenway by Greg O'Brien, Barbara Hanks by Lynne Neuman and Margie Beierschmitt from the Sunrise rotary club at the South Bay.
The Welcome Song was led by Geoff Nadler.
The lucky winners for wine were Christine Barnicki and Rick Mendoza.

Program: Fossils found in Palos Verdes
Today's speaker was Donald "Joe" Cocke, introduced by Marc Mazorow.
Mr. Cocke grew up in the Palos Verdes, has worked in the LA natural museum for 30 years, and is an expert about fossils particularly in the Palos Verdes. In a few minutes of slide pictures about fish fossils found in the cliff of Palos Verdes Peninsula, the computer refused to show his USB pictures any more. This session will be reprogramed possibly at the off-site Interpretive center near ocean.
President Bond closed this Rotary meeting to a conclusion at 1:25pm
