Katie O'Neill is a Pacific Palisades native who teaches and paints in the community. Her passion for the arts led her to opening up her first studio in Malibu alongside her mother, Virgina. Katie learned everything she knows about painting from her mother. When Virginia retired, after 18 years in Malibu, Katie opened a studio in the Pacific Palisades where she now lives with her family.
Ingrid Steinbert
Ingrid Steinbert is the Co-Founder of Resilient Palisades, which is a local organization that addresses ecologial issues in Pacific Palisades. Resilient Palisades engages with Palisadians, local businesses, schools, and organizations on projects that help us develop a more sustainable way of living to fight climate change while bringing the community closer together.
Sarena Hayer
Sarena Hayer, in her youth was sponsored by the Pacific Palisades Rotary Club and was the recipient of a Rotary International Scholarship Award to the London School of Economics and Political Science. She and her family are residents of Pacific Palisades, and business owners of a store in the community. She is currently a graduate of medical school and will focus on maternal and child health moving forward in her career.
Dr. Christopher Lowe
Dr. Christopher Lowe is a professor in marine biology and director of the Shark Lab at California State University Long Beach (CSULB), where he and his students work with acoustic and satellite telemetry techniques to study the movement, behavior and physiology of sharks, rays and gamefishes. Lowe shared about sharks that inhabit the Santa Monica Bay, and off the coast of California.
Bill Wishard
Bill Wishard is a 20 year resident of Malibu and a President of the Rotary Club of Malibu. Bill has been invlolved in many organizational events from working with music groups to the 1984 Olympics. He worked as part of the team on the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee, and is currently the Vice President of Williams College Alumni Association of Los Angeles.
