Police Issues Relating to Pacific Palisades

In Sept 2021 Brian Espin became LAPD Senior Lead Officer for Pacific Palisades. Brian replaced Michael Moore who retired and who spoke to the Rotary Club of Pacific Palisades club back in 2017.   Brian attended Venice High School and was captain of the swim team and became an LA county Lifeguard.  One of the beaches he patrolled was Will Rogers State Beach.

In 2005 he joined the LAPD.  He enjoyed the challenge of working within neighborhoods and with residents to address crimes and quality of life issues.

Prior to becoming Lead Officer, over a 5 year span he filled in as acting Senior Lead Officer for all seven of the Lead Officers in the West Side Area.

His wife serves as a Lifeguard and his son participates in the Junior Lifeguard Program.
