Rita Crabtee-Kampe did the flag salute with help from Livia Lupercio. Rita’s thoughts for the day included thanking the entire Magic In Giving Committee for their volunteer work on this outstanding event.
Lisa Hemmat-Lupercio was our acting President and got Happy Dollars from Larry Johnson, Jim Hunter for the Tour de Pier that raised 1.5 million dollars for cancer research, Bryon Bos for all the well wishes during his hospital stay, Tarek Shaer for his kids’ Mira Costa sports, Russ Samuels for completing his master’s in clinical psychology, and Walt Kasha added more.
Lisa urged us to attend he District 5280 Conference, scheduled June 12-14 in Temecula. We then we saw a slide show of Magic In Giving participants and the after party at Playa Hermosa.
