The Manhattan Beach School District’s Grammy Award winning bands and orchestra program has been selected to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City on May 29, 2016, and over 260 musicians are planning to be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.  Many of these students lack the financial ability to make this happen, and that is where the Manhattan Beach community and our neighboring communities can make a real difference in these students’ lives.  Rotary President Richard Ham presents a check for $3,000 to Mrs. Pam Damarillo, Orchestra Booster Club VP of Communications, to help with financing these students.
