More than 82,000 Americans remain missing from WWII, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Cold War, and the Gulf Wars/other conflicts combined. 

Special gues speaker David Hawkins (Korean War POW) will be sharing his experience as a POW survivor.

David was just one month into his 16th birthday when he joined the Army in 1949 and soon after he was off to the Korean peninsula to fight for democracy and fredom against the communists.  In Nov. 1950 David was captured and interned as a POW in North Korea. Through the Winter of 1951 David and 26 other soldiers watched as they were exposed to the harshest conditions imaginable leaving only 7 remaining survivors.
